This is your chance to see the action from the best vantage point in town – right on the river. Feel the thrill of the Australian Defence Force soaring across the sky, watch vibrant pyrotechnics explode in a rainbow of colours, and soak up the festive atmosphere with friends, family, or a special someone. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned RIVERFIRE fan, this cruise promises an experience full of wonder, excitement, and memories to last a lifetime.

Date: Saturday, 5th September 2026

Departure Point: New Farm Park River Hub, Lamington Street, New Farm (next to Brisbane Powerhouse)

⏰ Schedule:

• Boarding: 4:00pm (please arrive by 3:00 - 3.15pm for check-in)

• Departure: 4:30pm sharp

• Return: 9:00pm

• Fireworks: 7:00pm – 7:30pm
